Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an exciting cultural explosion of Caribbean music, cuisine, revelry as well as visual and performing arts. There no doubt the main attraction of the event is the Grand Parade, the largest Caribbean Parade in North America.
The 2014 Toronto Caribbean Carnival started with Official Launch on July 8th, followed by Opening Service on July 13th, Junior Carnival on July 19th and so on, lasted three weeks. The Caribbean Carnival Parade was held on August 2, started off inside Exhibition Place, moved along a 3.5 kilometer stretch on Lakeshore Boulevard, ended at Lakeshore and Parkside Drive. The parade continued about six hours long, over one million people attended.
