The Nikon D90 is a digital SLR camera model announced by Nikon in August 2008. It is a prosumer model as a replacement for the Nikon D80, fitting between the company’s entry-level and professional digital SLR models. In addition to high quality pictures, Nikon D90 can produce HD video as well. In May 2009, Nikon D90 won the TIPA European Photo & Imaging Award, in the “Best D-SLR Advanced” category.
