The Nikon D80 is a digital SLR camera model announced by Nikon in August 2006. It was considered to be an amalgam of design elements from the entry-level D50 and high-end D200 cameras. Nikon D80 is one of the most popular and successful models from Nikon. It was replaced by the Nikon D90 in August 2008.
