Ice storm hit Toronto last Saturday night. The worst freezing rain in history knocked out power all over GTA and left about 300,000 homes in the dark for two days. According to latest report of Dec.25, about 150,000 homes in Ontario including 85,000 homes in GTA still remained in conditions without power, heat and water.

I got to know the disaster in the Sunday morning when I found power outage and saw the broken trees everywhere.

The police car was badly frozen in freezing rain.

The iced iron net could be an abstract image of the status of Toronto in the disaster of ice storm.

No bad days last for ever. Power was fully restored in my building in the sunny morning of Tuesday, the day of Christmas Eve. 🙂
