The Nikon D3000 is a 10.2 megapixel DX
format digital SLR camera announced in July 2009. It is supposed to replace the D60
and D40 as Nikon's entry level DSLR.
There is no autofocus motor inside Nikon
D3000 body. It means that only Nikon autofocus lenses or compatible can be used in
autofocus mode.
